I've got heaps of time off, but can't plan until I see when Uni assginments are due. Want to go after reds, sika and fallow this year.

Whirinaki / Waipunga at least 4 days around the 6th of April

I'm thinking Easter this year is going to be too early for it to be going properly. I've taken leave after Easter up until Anzac Day.

Why do you say that? got a hunch? Was thinking of going in the week before been end of March and out on the 7th to beat every other hunter that is going to scent and clear the area out but have got an uneasy feeling about the timing then.
