Where can we go for Goats wairoa Napier road

Hey guys, we are off to wairoa today, when ever we go there we always see a shit heap of goats on the side of the road but never have the gun with us. Were a bit more organised today and really wanna grab some dog tucker, I’m not after your prime hunting spots just wanna knock off a few goats, are there any places we can duck off on the wairoa Napier road for a quick look?

    Nope
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Why don't you engage a guide?
    or do some reading
Most posts of yours I see here are asking for spots

As per above, no public land anywhere handy on the way. Maybe drop in and see a farmer, however most muster them in and sell them so may struggle. But as they always say the answer is no unless you ask

Iv always found my own spots, if asking it’s generally about the areas I’m going.
As for reading up, it’s a last minute decision to go see family, just wanted to go for a walk if we could on our way over

Thanks, I actually know someone close by so I might give them a call, didn’t even think of asking them. Iv never looked at hunting over there and thought there might be a public spot.

30 years ago we used to shoot the Tangarakau Gorge. Score heaps of goats . Stop in the Whangamomona pub.Locals eyes pop out seeing goats on top of the vehicle. Head off to my mates up the road. Unload the goats for dog tucker. Get a few pigs the next day and drive 6 hours home.Paradise.
