What they don't know can't hurt them
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I'd need a wap ( a real fiordland one, not a farm job) and a whitetail. Stewie Island on the list in the next few years

Dunno if I am allowed to say on here tbh. But he is the only one allowed on the Rusa property.
He is a forum member so may chime in one day.
Here now doing a few hunts.

Isn't he a guide though? I thought people promoting you was how you get business not by being hush hush about it? haha
My old man has been looking for a Rusa hunt so I've been scoping out some guides for him.

Yeah he is a guide and one of my best mates. I mentioned his business once before publicly and got growled at so I dont anymore. He has some Aus records for Rusa. He has number 3 or 4 in the record books he shot himself. Hunts are not cheap. But if you want I can pm you his contact details.

Here's a vid of mine of the SCI #1 Rusa being shot (or it was #1 at the time, about 10 years ago). New Caledonia.

Its a long story, but I turned the shot down, because it was only 2 hours into my week of hunting.

I doubt that there is too much that DOC don't know. They turn a blind eye to a lot of stuff when it suits them.
And we are being naive if we think that hunters can keep a secret for long, anyway. Someone always has to do the big noting and blab.

Very much so. My brother told a mate of ours a spot that holds good fallow that we hunt and last weekend the guy let me know he was taking his mate there and asked if I wanted to join. No concerns for courtesy in going straight to a mates place they've just confided in you with but what made it worse was they got back to town and the same day blabbed and gloated about this great new spot to the biggest poacher in town!! So he'll be out there spotlighting flat out now with his mates.

the better the spot the quieter you have to be I say haha
