    Rifle hunting pigs in the moonlight was great fun. Get between them and their hole in the fence and often they just keep coming at you.

    White pigs are odd to shoot as their body is hard to see against frosted ground but you see their shadow 'cos it shows as black, making what you are seeing confusing.

    You guys got it easy these days with thermal etc.

    This used to be my go too method of determining when I should be after problem pig mobs back before game cameras. It works best if you mount clock too a block of wood and I generally tied string too a goat leg or something big but of a size a pig could pick up and walk with. If you watch them, a big dominant pig will often just sit on the bait and eat. While the lesser pigs will take thier food away a bit so they dont get beaten and robbed.
