After 6 years of trying to get in, I've been lucky enough to get drawn block 3, pretty stoked.
Would anyone have any info on this block, that they would be willing to share

    Cheers bevan

Interestingly just read the AC pest control plan, it looks like the Iwi based at Woodhill may have been the only ones to have stopped them moving deer onto the exterminate list.

A few years back WFMC made submissions to the ARC regarding the status of the Fallow deer in Woodhill. As a result of the submissions, the herd was formally recognised. I believe the pest control plan has taken that into account.........

The Council can dump this and any other ARC decision in the future. The new plan specifically mentions the Iwi but have noted that eradication could still happen in the future.

    Hi guys,
I'm just curious as to the results of last year's ballot? Any decent bucks taken? Or many seen.

We saw 17 does for the day, no bucks or spikes seen in block 3

Fake news the deer control at south head is a small area around lake rotatoa and the regional park, and is to protect the biodiversity in the area.

TIKKA 595 7mm08 for the deer 12 gauge for everything else!
