Thread: Woodhill Block 6 any advice appreciated

Hunted block 6 yesterday and saw heaps of deer from about halfway to the bottom of the block heading south. Probably saw 60 plus generally all on the move except for those on the road - they seem to know they won't get shot at so take their time crossing even when I was visible - but once they get in the tress they move quickly.
Big cut over area at the bottom of the block that would be a great place to be in the evening, except for the fusillade that started up about midday on a farm on the other side of block 7. went on for a good hour or more. Found a nice trail that I was thinking of watching over heard a noise and it was a mob of a dozen + running towards me, but I manage to miss. My shooting let me down later when I spotted one bedded down in cleared area. But in all a good day out and thanks to the Woddhill Fallow Management team.

Was in Block 4 yesterday, would have seen 40 or more. All does. We collected 2 does for the day so very happy campers
