Thread: Woodhill block 6 help

As per the title can anyone help? Major cutovers to check? Looks to be bordering dunes

Had that block many years back, you are right there are dunes and there are numerous roads and tracks to explore unless it has changed a lot. Don't know what current cutovers are there but if there are some they will be hotspots. We seen 16 deer and a huge pig ( right at start of our block)
From memory you walk through Block 3 for a bit to get to Block 6. There is a major Rd through the block ( Inland Rd rings a bell) I lost a good Buck along that road. Hit him with the 300 WSM and he went straight down but managed to get up and got into the Toa Toa and rubbish and we lost him as there was some much fresh sign couldn't follow him up. Even came back with one of the management team who had a dog but still couldn't find him.
If the deer numbers are the same you will have a ball, just be prepared to walk big distances and take drink and food as it will be a long day.
