Hello my names harry recently have been doing a lot of pig hunting in the tararuas. Worth a try tomget some access. Im an apprentice builder done a lot of stock fencing and what not more then keen to do some work on your block or anything to help anything caught on your block will give meat ect thanks can travel live in kapiti coast area. Thanks

Try door knocking in normal clothes. Never heard of anyone getting access through here

As Mr Rusky has said door knocking will be your best bet.
Make sure you turn up in normal hours.
I offer the land owner a bottle of his poison and half an animal dressed out labled and ready to freeze if I get one But that's just me.
I also ask them for any advice i.e. Have they seen any animals and also if I see something broken (fence shorting out, water trough overflowing, animals stuck)
Oh and if you get access don't go shooting yourselve in the foot by then taking all your mates along. Always call a day our so before hand to ask permission again. Good luck.
