For all the criticism for Rogee Productions, there are far worse hunting youtubers out there. Check out "East Coast Hard Hunting". Swearing almost every sentence, having dogs chew on a pig while legs are held, openly saying they are having a joint with their morning coffee etc etc. . . .

Yep, there were some clowns that hunted on a farm I go to. They let their dogs rip a live deer to pieces on camera while they cheered it on. I sent the link to the farm owner, he was furious and he's never letting them back.

Agree, watched one of his vids the other day. What an absolute muppet. He’s an embarrassment to the hunting community.

That's sickening. Taking pleasure from cruelty/inflicting pain on animals is one of the red flag for psychopathy I'm pretty sure. Those losers should end up on a list.

I'm all for hunting, killing, taking animals but you don't ever need to torture the bloody things.

Further - putting that stuff on camera / youtube .. just gives ammo to anti hunting groups and in that case, rightly so.

Agree. That kind of stuff is relevant to the good character test for having a FAL, and the fact they put it online says they don't think ahead enough to be safe shooters IMO

Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be missed.

Exactly. You shouldn't damn a culture because of some individuals who are part of it. But sadly people do.

The problem I find with most long range vids is that they are so similar, and I hardly ever watch them because of that. Typical storyline... Walk in to camp at night, first light walk to a cleared shooting position (unless camped at shooting position, set up rifles, glass, see deer on other side of the valley, shoot it at 600-something metres, hike down the ridge and up to the face to retrieve deer, pack up, go home....

I'm not denigrating the shooting skill cos it's always leps and bounds above what I could do. And I'm not denigrating the ethics of LR hunting either, I just find the LR hunting vids lack variety to keep me interested. Whereas I quite enjoy LR shooting YT channels such as Mark and Sam After Work

This channels great imo....

Love the hunting shared across three generations of hunter....grandfather, father and daughter.
