Thread: 1" and 30mm OD tube in West Auckland

After a couple of piece of thick walled tube I could drill holes through to set some scope rings that are on the piss, straight.
Does anyone know of one out west who might stock this? Just after off cuts.

You will have a better chance of getting some bright shaft than you will heavy wall tube. Most tube is thin wall as apposed to pipe which is thick wall, tube being measured OD versus pipe being ID. Try a local machine shop for the shafting.
Are you wanting to hone the bore of the rings?

Ok cheers for that. Nah just the rings seem a little cocked. Was going to clamp the rings on drill a hole through the tube so can still do the screws into the action up and put a bit of metal epoxy under them. Nip it up an wait for it to set. Should see me right.
