Mine should be in the mail.
Mr gunshop owner said he could have sold it a few times over.

Got my Strike Eagle. First impressions are:

1 heavy but nothing like the HD version
    2 well made and solid
3 optics bright and clear, not quite as good as a top end scope but fine for hunting and target shooting
4 1 power has almost no parallax, you can see your hand in front at .5m
5 nice reticle, not too fine. clear
6 illumination is great, with 1-11 settings. quite visible in the day at high settings and not too overpowering at night in low settings
7 eye relife seems fine but really need to mount it first.

    now for a range test

Anyone have a 30mm cantilever mount for sale, or swap for a 25mm Burris PEPR mount?

I couldn't justify the extra $800 for the Bushnell Elite and VX6 when on paper the Strike Eagle does everything the Elite does so... I picked one up too! Mike at Reloaders said there was two left maybe one now? Man their delivery is fast less then 12hrs to my front door!

Agree with everything said, haven't mounted it yet but eye relief seems generous, true x1 power and the glass clarity is very good - Not European good but definitely comparable to the Vortex Diamondbacks or the PST's

Comes with pretty good scope covers that are screwed together where the hinge lies not some pin that will fall out and there is a neat compartment on the windage turret cap that has a spare CR2032 battery. So you get two batteries if you other guys haven't checked already?

Great value for money, glad I bit the bullet and went for it rather then the other scopes I was looking at.

Now I just gotta get it mounted and take it to the range for testing.

Hopefully my strike eagle will be home when I get there.
Not spending ridiculous money on a cantilever mount either.

Been thinking about buying one for awhile from the states.
Couldn't land it for much cheaper (Freight and taxes kill it) so I just bought one from re-loaders as well.

Just ordered a 30mm mount and a switchlever from Optics Planet to go with it.
Looking forward to giving it a go.

    Ordered this one.
Vortex Switchview SV-4 Throw Lever FREE S&H SV-4. Vortex Riflescope Accessories.

    and this mount.
Burris AR PEPR Tactical Riflescope Rings with Mount FREE S&H Burris Mounts Rings Bases

If not for the switch view I would have bought the mount from NZAR15.

Set my strike eagle up today and zeroed.
Pretty impressed with it all round to be fair. Good glass. Great reticle and eye relief.

I shot a 3 gun stage we did yesty, again today. (Different scope) Shot it 3 times today. Shaved off 4 seconds on average and only had one C zone hit compared to a few to many yesterday along with a few hostages😆
I found with the scope mounted at the correct height and the reticle allowing way faster acquisition it obviously was much easier to use.
It was easy with both eyes and did not need any illumination at all.
I think they will be popular with the 3 gun service rifle types. Early days yet but I can't see how spending the money on an HD 1-6× would improve much at all to what the strike eagle offers for the money.
