I think it is the Act party that are the only ones standing up to this so maybe they should get our votes next election.

It is dissapointing they succeeded by deviding us, places like hunting and fishing coming out in support of a ban is so short sighted, the only reason we got to keep our semi 22s and shotguns is because there are to many for them to afford a buy back, my way of thinking is we need to encourage more people to invest into sporting semi's and center fire rifles, if the only way to stop a ban is to make it to expensive for them to fairly implement that is a tactic we can exploit.

Get off American websites and social media for a while. Might do you some good.

Cahill has been pushing that barrow today, he is riding on the momentum.

Clearly you have never heard of the United Nations? What I am saying is not tinfoil hat material, but the wishes of a vast movement. It is also policy of countless powerful think tanks, NGOs etc etc. The media is a collective voice behind these groups.

Which rock do you live under?

While it may seem some of us are just ridding the outrage bus, you only need to look at Australia and the UK to see that they will not stop at semis.

This twat in Australia is trying to use the Christchurch event to get "Military style bolt actions" banned.

Yup and lever actions-they've been in the bad books for a while because they are rapid fire.
I remember reading old American shooting mags from the 70s and earlier back in my teens. way before internet
They identified that anti firearms advocates work on the same principle as any campaigner.
Keep chipping away as every concession is a win.
Their pro firearm organisations like the NRA worked it out and have basically mobilised almost better than the antis.
Never let them take a forward step even though it does make them look like a bunch of nutters.
Similar time frame from back in the 80's but also remember reading something from maybe Greenpeace basically confirming the method.
Stay strong keep going-every time legislation changes for you its a good thing until eventually they get their way
