I love the fact that they thread them before they leave, that is a golden sales trick but also damn handy down the road when its time to suppress it
Other option would be to get a hreaded barrelled action and get everything else separately eg.

    Threaded blued .223 action $660
    Boyds Stock including shipping $170
    Bases & Rings $120
Scope $up to what you want, would replace the Nikko anyway
    Suppressor $depends what you want

Could end up with a great rifle for not much more than the package?

yeah factory ammo is $2.90 a round. I have 200 rounds(under that now) kept most brass but lost a few when shooting the odd deer. But from now on I will be more careful to keep it so I can reload

Yep, was looking at a .375 Ruger and it was the same price, just a 6 month wait!

Yeah, just buy the barrelled action, phone around and get the best price because they all have them, then buy the other stuff from wherever, the boyds you have to get from the states, would suggest the same for the scope and then the rest get here.

H&F, Reloaders, Serious shooters, Stirling Sports, Gun City and I assume Gunworks as they are selling the packages? They are distributed here by Cameron Sports.

Check out Howas agent site to see what they have

223 howa from gunworks, complete package is probably sweetest new deal on right now, and you know you're getting Robbie's service and backup.

Sounds like the 26" heavy barrel Savage 204 I recently got rid of! Lovely gun but not very practical for hunting.
