    Cheers

If it is any help, I have one only left of the Toz 78/04. We will be getting more in but I only have semi autos (Toz99) left after this one. In saying that, I do have a Izhmash Sobol straight pull. Its a heavy barrel, spare mags in the stock and being slightly second hand it will be in your budget (though only just) Not everyone's cup of tea, and if you want a light 22 for lugging around after rabbits this is probably not for you.

The CZ 455 and the 452 are both very nice rifles. Accurate and reliable. Well worth looking at.

I have a CZ512 which while having a aluminium receiver and polymer lower still does a fair job of of having classic lines and sexy wood,I actually have only zeroed this rifle with cci subs but it shot them well and online reveiws reguarlly speak of less than inch groups @100y....another option If you wanted a nice semi.

[QUOTE=Tommy;597301]Serious Shooters have a special on at the moment: New CZ455, threaded, kilwell suppressor, kilwell (cheapie I guess) scope $899 inc for the whole shebang. I know the 455 isn't the 452/Mod2/E etc, but it's not too bad. Only issue is that it comes in this slightly odd blonde stock with black stipled sections. Could strip and stain I guess.

[EDIT: It's a "NZ edition" apparently]

    Yuck.

If that's an official CZ "NZ edition", it's a very lame attempt. Personally, dark (black) wood with discreet silver inlay would have been more appropriate.
