I have an integral over barrel suppressed 10/22 where the barrel section is only 10". Kills possums dead.

Thanks team, I'm thinking 13" will get pretty it bloody short and a wee bit of leeway over legal minimum length. And DPT, which I can add more sections to it later if need be.

If you wanted to chop it silly-short, you could pin the supressor on, making it a permanent part of the OAL.
I'm more thinking a bit of leeway in case I ever need to change something again. There potential to lose an inch or so of stock to help it fit kids etc.

my pooger 1022 is 13 inches
its more accurate now than it was with the standard full length barrel
it was equally as accurate as my long ass brno model 2 which surprised the hell out of me
I only use winchester subs in 40 and 42 gr and none ever crack

These are 14", they hold subs at sub velocities pretty reliably (maybe 1:100 rounds goes "crack" with CCI, less with Eley match etc).
@Kiwi-Hunter cut his to 12" and its about the same, however his gunsmith cut a 1/2x28 thread on it to suit a suppressor he had at hand and now its too short to cut a new thread, point being if you "fly close to the wind" sometimes it can bite you further down the track

Yep especially running the CCI “suppressor” ammo, only doing around 780fps but good for plinking, the CCI subsonics are only a little bit louder and the Winchester 42g subs are a bit louder again but hit a lot harder.

Only means buying more suppressors for the other rifles.
I have a good brno 2 that's about to get the chop! unless there is a good voice of reason, NOT to.
Choice of length, well might go with 14" or the bakers dozen.

A word of caution from someone who chopped too short... I chopped a 22 to the minimum legal length thinking that this would be super handy etc, which it is. What I have found though is that the muzzle sits at ear level with the gun on shoulder - most disconcerting. I ended up heating a piece of PN12 PE water pipe and slipping it over the suppressor to extend the barrel above the head. I would stand in front of a mirror and mark the barrel from that if doing it again.

This is my set up bottom one is hmr 18” I think
.22 is 16” the dpt is shared between these two and my .233, I pulled the dpt apart the other day cos I was bored and there was not much fouling at all not sure on round count but it’s up there, I think 4 x 223 party packs(250 rnd packs) on the 5th slab of hmr and maybe 500rnds of cci subs
