No problems at all . Completely ignored the subs . Not bothered by the full power either . In fact the mrs took him for a walk between shifting targets so he was out of sight of us and when we started firing shots he dragged her back to us to see what the noise was .
So we put a couple of rounds through the mrs 7.62 suppressed and he just sat there . So moved up to my 308 suppressed and he just sniffed around in the bushes and looked up at each shot , then carried on sniffing .
And of course he was on leash and behind the shooter at the time . So did very very well .
I wouldn't be using the 45 while he was around though of course.... that would make the poor buggers ears bleed .
Will have a few more smaller calibre practice rounds with him before trying the 338 , also suppressed , until he is completely used to the rifles . Then will see how he handles the big boys toy ..... Not hugely louder than the 308 so should be okay I think .

Had a old Remington with a long barrel, 26inchs that's the only rifle that ever shot stingers well. Still only a slightly longer distant rabbit round.

if you havent tried them the bog std 45??grn winchester old school stuff work well... dont even know if the stirling stuff still made but it used to be really good as had big exposed lead hollow point.great on wallabies.
there sure is a lot of fancy 22mag ammo out there now...the 17s made a dent in sales so they had to play catchup in a hurry I reckon.
