I too recommend getting in touch with the SPARC guys with regards to a match and a loaner rifle.

If you just want to just straight in you need to decide if you want a bolt or a semi.
If a bolt either a T1x, a CZ457, or Bergar B14r (the Rem700 based model) is definitely the way to go, there are other rifles that are fine but thesehave the most after market options by far, and are probably he safest bet for accuracy and reliability at a low ish price.

If wanting semi then the Tippmann m4-22 is probably the best way to go , I'm sure a 10/22 would be fine and there are plenty of custom options you can go for but I think the Tippmann would be easier and cheaper and better suited to the likes of Swamp brutality.

For a scope definitely go Mils (Mils are actually a coarse adjustment but that's not the reason) and FFP if you can.
A scope I the 2-10, 3-12, 3-15 type range is more than enough magnification.

Then it's just a case of buying a decent quality of accurate enough (you don't need Eley Tenex or RWS R50) and knowing your drops.

A T1x shooting CCI SV, with a 3-12 Mil reticle scope, and knowing your drops is more than enough to be competitive, or atleast not be able to blame your equipment if you don't do well.

For an adjustable rimfire scope, the minimum parallax would be an important consideration to me.
I see the minimum range is down to ten metres for the marksman class. Knowing that goosing a shot is unlikely at closer distances, also that parallax and focus are not the same thing, it would still be an important factor in my choice.
