Get One, I did it's awesome! Started out as a Tikka wsm, now it sits in a Boyd's Thumbhole stock with clamp on brake.
    Easy as to shoot.

Cool, any trouble with mag length or is that maybe an advantage with the Tikka in wsm, having only the one mag length maybe it can be loaded out.
wonder how long the throat is.

Buy a normal magnum mag? A Tikka is only once removed from Lego so that shit should just snap together...

Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

Mag length rounds can still shoot well. Have managed a half inch group...... once :-)

Weatherby Vanguard 300 WSM, 180 Hornady SST 3000 fps, Win brass, CCI primer, ADI 2209, 2.830 oal (mag length-1mm),no powder charge here as is over max (but not by much) .
Shoots bugholes if i hold it TIGHT, recoil is very sharp but not overwhelming. will probably be my go to rifle this year so don't tell my Sako 85 6.5 ,it'll probably get jealous.
fully recomend the caliber as it is almost identical ballisticly to the 300 win mag with anything up to 180 grains, and 200 or 220 gr bush loads don't mind going a little bit slower
