When my shooting skills surpass the ability of the calibre and rifle then i might look at something bigger faster better but at the moment 2500yds is still 5 times further than i can hit things!

Retail on the Savage 110FCP HS 338 is $2400 isn't it? Not too far above 2k and by most accounts they shoot as well as any.

I took 'wrapped in HS precision' to mean wearing an HS stock. Maybe I misunderstood.
