    It's very nice Greg, and a great example of a hunting rifle. Possibly a bit behind a big 7mm ballistics though :-)

    Nope ahead of a 180 hybrid at 3350 fps & I know which one will recoil the most, kill the best & last the longest

    For hunting the 7mm would still win

    Could be lighter
    Shoot without brake still
    Shoot flatter
    Cost less to run

    Amd for a hunting rifle 1000rounds still bloody years of hunting/range/ gong for practice with a few

    7mm


    338 edge at normal safe load

    not that heavy, carried this bad boy for three days before I put this one on the ground at 47m... so much for LR. Remington XCR Tactical Long Range with one of kiwigreg's T3 brakes. bang flop every time...

    The first with my first 30" Edge was pretty much the same, 49 yards BOOM flop, good times
