There's a thread on some forum of a guy who made a functional lower like 6 years ago, with glued together HDPE chopping boards and a mill etc.

You do realize you're still thinking inside the square.

A rifle is a type of weapon.
A paintball gun is a type of weapon.
A bow is a type of weapon.
    Etc.

Yes you can use one to make plastic guns. But that's not where weapons are going to head once this technology is freely available, and able to be mass produced relatively easily by anyone with a printer.
This is also where governments are going to lose the plot and MAYBE even get to the point of giving up on control of actual firearms. I can also see the yanks leading the way on crazy shit they design.
I mean what's the point of having a fal if you've got a lazy stash of say extreme, ummm, firebombing missiles in the house next door and a printer going flatout printing more of them?

I fixed the apostrophe. It was annoying me. I'll let y'all get back on track, I'm going to go buff a scratch out of my windscreen with a dremel.

even the little 3d printers on trademe are close to the price of a brand new ar15,
and they probably arnt even big enough to print a lower, let alone a extream firebombing missile

Are there different firearms rules for extream firebombing missiles? Is my A-Cat safe okay to store one? Can I stir my tea with my extream firebombing missile or is it not waterproof? When does the waterproof one come out, can I print it on my printer?

Also I think I am out of ink - is that a problem?

How to tell if you're a redneck. If you say y'all you are.

Very unimaginative Bill. That is a 'for instance' reference.
As with any of this tech, it'll get cheap fast.
gimp, go get a 3D printer and make a replacement screen.

There was an out fit called the wiki weapon project, who intended to design a simple 3D printable firearm, then release the CAD file on the net. The parameter was to make a gun capable of being discharged at least once and have the ability to kill somebody with it. They got shut down though. Their whole intention was to destroy gun control efforts world wide.

Edit - it is actually Defense Dist the dudes printing AR''s Our Plan | Defense Dist. Still going.

the waterproof-ness of the extreame firebombing missile all comes down to its construction. If you use a pvc type ink in its construction then I cant see why your extreame firebombing missle couldnt be used for stirring your tea.
Im not sure why you would want to stir any beverage with an extream firebombing missile tho, all the nooks and crannies will get clogged up with the cheese like substance that gets left behind when any beverage containing milk drys.

Might pay to leave that job to a simple stainless steel tool that is cupped to catch the tea so it efficiently stirs the tea

these are a few options Iv found online
    3ds teaspoon spoon tea

they would work much better than an extream fire-bombing missile for stirring your tea.

I know a man who is preparing to make his own barrels as we speak. To make a top class match barrel, is very hard. To make a functioning one, not so much.

A large part of the 3d printing community involves using 3d printers to make more 3d printers. So banning them......... may be ineffectual.

Not hard at all Tussock, then drive a steel liner into them. You could make one now in about an hour. with less tools than you need to make a steel one.

I guess most have missed the point, or rather I haven't explained the point properly
