few years back a few guys had them and had good results as hunting round here but dont seem to see or here about it much now
anyone still using it here for hunting in short barrel hunting rifles?

@gimp was the first person I remember hunting with one. He might chime in.

It works fine but I sold mine to get a lighter factory rifle, my mate still has it and most recently shot a bull tahr at like 485m with it, it died. Depending on what you're actually intending on using it for it might be a total waste of time and money to bother (customrifles.txt)

planning to set my 260 barrel back and ream to 6.5x47 to make better use of my mag length but still use 120-130s maybe stubby 140s due to 1:9 twist have a personal max of 350m maybe 400m but that be max for me comfortably

Gaymores love a good reaming

The 6.5 Lapua is supposed to be outstanding, but the creedmore has killed it really due to a big selection of factory rifles and ammo

I’ve surgically removed a few stinkies out around 400m with mine but it’s heavy, an R8 with match barrel in the Blaser/GRS laminated stock with an ATACR on top. Needs a Gun carriage...
