Weighted the brass on the A&D All cases are between 14.643grms and 14.797grms.
Can’t find a correlation between weight and “pressure signs”.
I can’t be bothered checking volume I will just use the brass that are ok.

I take that back having read the rest of the thread
Pulled bullets from a box of the earlier batch, the compressed load. It is a ball powder. I weighted charge out of interest and it is really close to Hornady recommendation for Staball HD.
Huge fluctuation in charge 1.4grain… match ammo my ass… should he called 180 edlP for plinking! or prehaps they found a massiv nod…
I pulled one bullet of the later batch, it is an extruded powder. I will pull the 20 rounds and weight them tomorrow.
1.4grn...fuck me sideways!!!!! I can get much better than that with LEE dipper spoons..... really hope you were videoing it as you did it and sent it to Hornady..thats absolutely shocking..... unless lowest weight was minimum load..thats just nuts.
75/15/10 black powder matters
I didn’t record it… from what I can read on the 7mm PRC Facebook group others had similar observation. Guarantee Hornady is well aware.
Should be called 180eldP for plinking it’s nowhere close to match standard.
@dannyb would suffer from epileptic fit if his loads were that varied !!!!!!!! it takes a bit to shock me but lordloveaduck that is diafrigginbolickal

#6 #14 67--73 so a rounded 6 grn difference in a 70 grn load....nearly 10%

This is the screenshot from the 7mm PRC group, it is not the one I measured so take it for what it is… I recorded my weight on a A&D Fx300i, I check calibration with calibrated weight before use so pretty sure my measurement and this 1.4gn delta are correct. This load measured at -6gn by this guy is insane if it is real, you would assume they have some sort of QC weighting the final weight of each round
yeah figgured that was case....but even your 1.4g is just not on at all..... that its with a ball powder makes it even weirder as it meters so well.

1.4 grain difference for a large capacity like that is not worrying me too much. I saw similar results when I removed the powder of close to 60 rounds of 28 nosler , nosler branded. Where I would be worried would be that kind of variation into a 17 hornet or a 204 ruger.
yip 1.4 of 70 isnt a huge amount..but superpreformance ammunition is hot to begin with..... would you poke another 1.4grns on top of your already warm load and be happy to squeaze it off??? plurry sure I wouldnt be.

More on this… shot 2x boxes of new 180 ELDM match (the one with extruded powder not compressed). Not a single issue with this one… 150fps slower average versus precedent batch (around 2830-2850gps on a new barrel).
So if you want to shoot for brass or factory ammo ask for this batch number
Also started load development, the brass that were ok behaved well. Promising result with H4831sc
Sourced from a facebook page so take it as you will
