Thread: 7mm PRC non Hornady factory anmo?

Anyone heard if any other ammo manufacturers are going to start making 7PRC soon?

I've read the is 7mm PRC a lemon thread, seems the factory Hornady stuff has something to be desired

Unsure. I handload for my 7 prc. But tried factory eld x for interest sake. Easily sun Moa and 2850-2900 from a 20” barrel. Have you tried it for yourself?

Federal, Norma and Nosler all make factory ammo now as well. When we will see it here is another question

Do we know when any factory rifles will be available here in NZ in 7prc? Pretty keen on this being my next calibre choice.

There is a few savage kicking around in 7prc, if you squint they look mint....

Not so keen on a Savage, i would prob get one in an xbolt tho. Be great if Tikka would do one would jump on that. In no hurry so will hold off see what happens.

What barrel did you run with? I have heard of a few running quite slow

That’s like an orgasm. I couldn’t spend what that’s worth on a hunting rifle though.. I’m too hard and rough on my gear
