Thread: 7mm through 30. Cal suppressor

Hey guys so I brought a dpt magnum suppressor in .30 cal as I thought I was going to get a .300wsm but have since decided to get a 7mm wsm instead, so was wondering if the .30cal suppressor would work well on the 7mm or would it be worth trying to trade/sell it and get one suitable for 7mm?

Be fine. I use a 30 cal DPT (standard sized modular) on 308, 280 and 223

Between calibres? Yes, for obvious reasons.

But I havent compared a 7mm suppressor on the 280 vs using the 30 cal one though.

Had an old gunworks on the 223 which was quieter than using the 30 cal dpt, but it was also much larger, heavier, had more rounds through it and made of steel. So comparing them wouldn't be fair.
