    Accurate 223 recommendations

About to hand my AR15 in - pity, as it runs a large scope and has been simply AMAZINGLY accurate for long range bunnies/hares/goats.

Who has a recommendation for a suitable replacement?
Keeping the scope (2.5-17.5x56 S-TAC) so ideally a heavier chassis-based rifle would be the plan.
Not entirely sold on the bull barrel thing, but don't want a pencil-whip.
Would've been tempted by a Ruger Precision Rifle, but apparently they don't offer it in the manly calibre

A couple of people are doing the Howa mini action with heavy barrel, 223 1-8, in a chassis, Broncos for instance

Tikka T3 Super Varmint .223. Simply put, the most accurate out the box factory rifle I've ever owned, whether its in the DPT chassis or the factory stock.

If an old fart like me can carry this all day, so can you.

    It currently wears a S-Tac 4-20x50.

Iv got a bog standard tikka varmint .223 1/8 that consistently shoots 0.20 to 0.4” 5 shot groups at 100..one after the other, not the occasional good group. Sounds like BS I know, but it’s a seriously accurate specimen.

The Tikka .223 rigs I’ve had have been super accurate.

I’ve got an MDT ESS chassis still sitting waiting for some use too if you are after one.

Otherwise if you can find a B&C stock, they’re also a nice upgrade for accuracy.
