quite a common issue with the 452's. The ejector claw and firing pin need tweeking by a gunsmith...take it back to shop and get them to return to the NZ Agent to get fixed

The fact that the misfires reduced after the shop cleaned out the original grease makes it possible that they didn't get all of it. There may still be some grease in the far end of the channel where the firing pin spring fits in the firing pin. This can cause the spring to slow down to the point where it doesn't have enough force for the firing pin to deliver a full blow to the rim (primer) of the cartridge case. It's not that easy to clean out unless you squirt some brake cleaner or similar down there.
Sparingly use a good quality light oil on the firing pin spring.
as 7mm swam says it could be jammed with storage grease and could be a simple case of pulling the bolt apart and giving it a clean don't do it yourself as of you do it and something is wrong you would have voided warranty tampering with it could also be a broken firing pin if it was on the shelf people dryfire them which you should never do with a rimfire my 452 fired over 39000 rounds before I upgraded and the only misfires were faulty rounds which is quite common with 22 ammo
take it back to the shop its not your problem
Take it back to the shop ASAP ... don't play around with it.
