    A deer shot in the head wont mind if its a 50 gr or 60 gr pill. Id rebarrel, and keep it as 222. Apart from the "noise reduction" theres no real advantage to a suppressor on a .222

    but boy oh boy does a suppressed trebly sound quiet.....Im rather impressed with the wee cartridge,the mother n father of all them flashharry small varmit rounds with same case head size ,and its still doing the business .
