I never knew a QD mount and some cheapo chamber flags could cause such a drama. Anywho I will keep you all updated as it progresses. Had two emails from the "freight" company which I haven't replied to so waiting to hear from Customs if indeed they have any concerns

Careful pal. Full of scammers there and apparently some insider might steal the contact and they somehow get your phone number. Many honey trap baits, which may be a dude behind those photos, and play victim. Changed my phone number and no more scam calls.

The OP ordered some firearm-related items from AliExpress - he's not involved in a romance scam with some dude from Nigeria.

Your post does remind me of the time a scammer called my grandmother and told her he had all her passwords.
She replied "Oh thank goodness, I'll just get a pen & paper and you can tell me what they are..."

I work in the business, what is the name of the company?

It could be true if the idiots have not cleared it through customs, and customs have put a hold on it for an inspection - which is something they do if they are interested in the description on the paperwork. It wont be because the items are restricted but more that Customs want more clarification.
