Alfa 357 carbine, current value ?

I have been given an Alfa carbine amongst others to liquidate as the owner has decided to turn it his licence at 76 years of age, reckons he can’t see bugger all, and fair enough, a hard call to make.

I don’t need a second one, so will be looking to sell or swap this one.

It is unfired, and has been stored in a safe since day 1, probably hasn’t left the safe until it’s come out for a picture, it will also have 150 rounds of 357 mag and 50 rounds of 38 special to be included, I believe he may have the spare front blade for it also.

What’s the hive minds consensus on current value, I’ve seen them as high as 5.5 on TM but I’d rather not list it there as it attracts the critters.

About 70% of retail should move it. They're a pretty controversial firearm at the moment and I agree, you certainly would find plenty of critters if you put this on trademe.

Definitely wouldn't be paying any more than retail for one as that's all you'll get when they decide to collect them all up for the crusher...

Some of you guys are just feeding the monster with some of your comments regarding these firearms. And you are part of the reason we are going to have trouble keeping our guns.
The Alfa Carbines are no better or worse than any other firearm.
Good luck with the sale Billymavs

No better or no worse doesn't cut it though does it..... And no I didn't use cut as a pun. Unfortunately the actions of a few unscrupulous sales people have put these in a thin ice situation. Price is always what someone else is prepared to pay and has spare to pay.

I'd love one. Just reluctant to wear a glove on left hand forward of the cylinder flash
I know a lot but it seems less every day...

Well GC has used ones listed for $3500. So something bit under that.
See the last few attempts at importing them have been blocked. So thats putting the price up,
If any importer gets approval for a shipment they will make a mint.
I was tempted once but not now. Too popular elsewhere for my taste and a little under powered for a 150 mtr deer.

Designed for .357 pressure, so can fire the 38 Special I assume.

Any 357 can fire 38, the only difference is case length.
