If I can not get another 6.5x55 then I would be going 7mm08 again I like the caliber had a very good experience owning one as that what the marlin I had was. But I am favoring the howa and the ruger due to the fact they have floor plate mags and both fit my shoulder very well, a couple of guys I know feel very uneasy about people working a bolt to empty out a blind mag which the marlin has, I really wish they would put a floor plate in the X7 range. Also I do not mind the .270 either got the shit kicked out of me by a brno zkk600 that I bought but then the marlin and the ruger in that caliber got me enjoying shooting .270 due to proper fit of the the rifle to my shoulder where as the brno was not a very good fit so really felt it more.

You need to buy a conversion kit to get the howa to take a removable mag from memory

Don't like em, good accuracy etc but just don't fit my shoulder properly and they are too bloody light.

Not sure about the sex thing! Here is an old photo but better quality. Now has a different scope and brake.

I was actually thinking of going back down the redfield route for the optics was thinking the revenge 4-12X42 with the new accuranger reticle and audible click adjustment unlike the revolution bloody nice scope but no audible or felt click on the turret. The revenge carries the same warranty as leupold so that is a bonus.

If I was to get the .223 suppressed, how quiet would it be? and what range and accuracy would I expect out to about 200m? also is there a cheaper place to get ammo from rather then gun city? Im just trying to plan how much I want to be saving

Re: All this bloody howa talk lately

For toby. A 223 is a very capable and accurate round and also there is cheap ammo available for less than a dollar a round
