I have one, it came with a lot of loaded ammo and I pinched the scope off it before I ran out so I'll be watching this for any advice

Sorry, that was my load for my 22-250.(3730fps)
The 22-250 Ai was 38gr of adi2208 with 60 gr hornady flat base hollow point.
    The tube was 26" long.
I suggest you step back two or three grains and try from there.
2208 and h-380 are my two powders of choice for that the 22-250.

sounds good to me. apparently 220 swift loads are also a good starting point as the capacity is similar too. you have a 1:12 or faster twist? i went 1:8 on mine so it can chuck the 75 amax out far too. hopefully it fires the lighter pills past 4k easy haha

If you have such a fast twist then don't bother with anything lighter than 69 gr. make the most of the high BC bullets. You will have to review the powders( charges) to be used.

I wanted to experiment with both as i do abit of roo culling when im in oz, and a 55 vmax or similar at 4000+ would mean zero holdover on shots under 300m haha. also would make for spectacular critter explosions and no delay in bullet flight. was going to use the 75 amax for windy or longer shots and larger ferals. that was the idea anyway

Dave, why you want to make a round that already goes faster than a snot rocket on full afterburner go even faster?

Ardave, Let me know if your rifle likes the 75g Amax's as both my 223's hate them so you can have my stash for free.

Hope your 223s aren't tikkas as i was hoping to try these in my T3 lite.
After deciding they were no good did you find a suitable alternative?
