Anyone Auckland based with a bore-scope I can make use of?

Hi Guys - just in the process of committing to a new rifle for benchrest / long range hunting and really in the need of a bore-scope to borrow, or rent for a 30 cal.
I did ask the smithy who works out of the local gun store - but no dice - who would have thought!!!

As this is something I'm going to invest in over the next 6 months, I just want to make sure I don't need to tip large amounts -i.e re-barrel unnecessarily because i didn't see any obvious defects.

If any one is out there and has one can you let me know or drop me a PM.

    Cheers
    CD.

    Take the bolt out
Look down the barrel aline the target in the center of the barrel
Now without the gun moveing best to clamp it some how
Use the elevation and windage adjustments to move the crosshairs to the target
You’re barrel and crosshairs looking at the same spot you’re bore sighted no need for fancy tools
Doing it this way will do as good if not better if done proper ie rifle not moving
Most gunshops will bore sight for you if you ask

Sorry Mate this isn't about sighting in I'm after a bore-scope not bore sight... pretty big difference.

I want to look at the state of the chamber, lands and barrel up close.
Thanks and yes, I use that method too for bore sighting bolt actions to get on paper.

That would be brilliant if we could work it.

Gonna be in Matamata area next two weekend duck shooting and prepping but if we could work something out that would be awesome! Work in Central Auckland during the week for my sins - Parnell area but happy to travel to your location...

Drop me a PM with your details and I'll give you a call.
