    Second hand lower (complete) was $550, stripped Anderson upper $190ish, bolt was $220, Hera rail was $239, 2nd hand DPMS barrel was $350, gas block was $100ish, gas tube and charging handle were another $90ish, so $1740 I think. It started with me thinking 'gee I bet I could scrounge all the parts for less than a $1k' but now including the suppressor and Aimpoint it's closer to $3k

    That still sounds like a good price for an e cat ar15. A grand more than a saiga is worth it for a decent semi.

    You have built a pretty nice set up there. well done. I'd like to eventually get in to 3-gun but home life and work has me pretty screwed for time at the moment.
