Barrel extension to suit the bolt - yes.
The upper needs to be bored 1mm to fit the extension.
Obviously the ejection port needs to be opened up also to get the case out

At that point, easier to just get an "AR10", surely?
Took me 5 mins to open up the last uppers ejection port - prob 20 mins to do the extension area by the time you clock it up in a 4 jaw etc.
Ar15 bits are easy to get and all work together (unless its a _ _ _ ) where AR10 half of doesnt fit other brands etc and choice is limited.
Petty hard to build a Ar15 weight AR10 also
Each to their own I spose - I like 15s hence Ll the weird and wonderful upper I have and are building
Lack of AR10 standardization is a bitch. And they are heavy. I guess I just like the idea of the simplicity of non-custom stuff..
