Would be epic if you could get in some reasonably nice PE90's

There are a lot of A-Cat semi's out there that Kiwis would love - its actually surprising what you can find that could be exported here. For example I believe there is a 5 round A-Cat version of the PTR91 available in the USA.

I'm pretty sure the Rangemaster of the Swiss range in Auckland now has approval to bring in PE90's to replace the clubs aged K31's...

I think the Schmeisser 28k rand and the NEA 22k rand are the 2 main AR's available there. I understand that they have pretty anal semi auto laws there too. I guess they probably have cheaper options?

My sources tell me that a certain outfit here in NZ has approval (from our end anyway) to bring in some of the Christensen Arms range of AR15s and some of there 308 variants and there is also talk of some of them having the carbon wrapped barrels. But i best leave it at that.

    Just no market

People buy $3200 Sakos and Benelli/Beretta shotguns like they're going out of fashion, surely some people would buy $3000 BCM or DD rifles (or $2000 uppers with whatever lower)
