I've been down to see Digit and his products.

I'm also going to have a look at Delta Sectors products.

Been looking at this recently.
Colt Competition CRE Expert AR-15 Delta Sector NZ

and been looking at these optics as a starter.
Bushnell - 4.5-18x 40mm

What do you think?

Unless you're planning to "Varminate" with it, I'd suggest less power on the scope.
I started with a 4.5-14 and it was too much personally for anything other than rabbits and hares.
Couldn't hit a goat in close scrub - just couldn't see it!

Yeah 4x in thick scrub isn't the best.

The goats I'm intending to shoot at will generally be in the 100 to 500m range.
