Hiperfire EDT $85 US from Brownells.
No issues with light strike/no primer ignition like some more pricey triggers.

Lots of options. Depends on what your intended use is, and how much you want to spend.

For a milspec type. The ALG ACT or QMS is a good option. Less than $100 landed from Brownells.

Many 2 stage options to choose from. The Giessele are very popular for good reason.

As most good 2 stage triggers are over $100USD to export just a trigger can be expensive.

NZAR15 has a really good selection, if you go to his showroom or catch him at a show, he has most triggers mounted for testing.

I am also keen to know what peoples favourite triggers are.

I have a couple of the Timney 3lb versions.
Ones been good, the other is going back for repair tomorrow after only 4 months (Approx 5-6K rounds) as it wont reset. I think one of the VERY small locking nuts has shaken loose and fallen out so its something to keep in mind if you shoot a few rounds.

I also have a couple of the Wilson combat TTU 3lb triggers.
They have been fine in my 223 / 300 blackout AR's but in the 9mm, they went full auto all the time.
Very short reset which is nice.

I went with Timney and now have misfiring\light strikes with milspec primers so my advice would be to go with something else!

Geiselle SSA Two Stage also, very nice but with the take up of the first stage it can feel very long compared to a nice single stage.

Try get down to NZAR15 to try all their triggers

    Get a JP single stage.
Mine one is like shooting a good bolt gun.
I haven't touched it from factory.

Not sure as it come with my rifle.
You could try Guns nz who import JPs.
They retail for around $130 us and are called the JP fire control system.
Not sure if they are worth importing if you have to, compared to what is available in NZ but they are pretty good.

NZAR15 posted an article on AR15 drop in triggers. The good news is that they are bringing in the Rise Armament RA140 in a week.
