    I just cut the rubbers off, ground off the pins and araldite them on

    rough bugger, i dont like cutting rubbers.... guess that would work just as well if you dont plan on going back

    The ones from Happy don't have pin holes and are permanent - araldite is advised and was used

    Gave it quick try. Pulled the old pin out of the rubber and the leg sits nicely in the foot. So i will drill hole into the leg for the grub screw then loctite in place.

    Put your springs back on before gluing, I forgot

    Those spikes are crap in rocky country. Backpack, its the shooting rest for all occasions and surfaces, and its free and doesn't weigh anything (because you need it anyhow)
