Barnard P & S models in the elements.

    Hi,
I'm toying with the idea of down sizing the number of rifles I have and getting something built up on a Barnard P or S action ( I have a soft spot for single shots) but I am unsure of how these actions cope out in the field. Due to their tolerances are they prone to binding up if the get a small amount of grit or water in them?
    Cheers.

They don't like grit very much but they are not designed to bush bash with the S would be the one to go with it's based loosely on a 700 SA footprint can be had as a repeater and is 400 grams lighter prefer it to an Accuracy International
if any problems you can pop in to the factory,
If funds allow I will get one built leaning towards a .284 Win or set up as a switch barrel plenty of options for trigger fitting their factory scope rail is as good as any have two fitted to non Barnard actions.
