    If you are patient a tikka barrel will pop up in the cal you are looking for
    same thread, screws straight in.
    Iv changed my 243 sako 75 to 308 for $180 total
    caliber stamp dosent line up If thats a big deal to you

    Do the Tikka barrels also fit the 85?

    I think I have a barrel but I have also been talked out of selling the rifle I was going to sell to do the re-barreling.

    This is why shooting is an essential part of work for me. Without shooting I comfortably live within my means. There's no growth.

    Iv seen a few fitted by gunsmiths so they will fit, but im not sure what will be needed around the CRF part of the 85 bolt, whether it needs a recess or what ever
    they spin right in to 75s I can say that much for certain
