    No - with the BORS you have to know the range still
    Ballistic info is entered into the unit via computer prior
    You then Dial the Turret until the readout matches the range

    These came out quite a few yrs back , and once some of the shooters in the US had actually used IT , the feeling was it was better to use a PDA and a good ballistics programme , and after that , I have not seen or heard much more about them , they are model specific , ie you need to buy the BORS model that is made for your scope model exactly .

    I have two Bors, each one sits on top of identical NF scopes, one on a Tikka 300wm and the other on a AR30wm.
    They are bloody good, I purchased 3 or 4 years ago over the www.
    You still need to range find the distance and just crank the elevation knob until the digital display matches the distance, the Bors determines your angle, temp and pressure but before all that you need to program the Bors via pc with your load data etc.
    Battery doesn't last long and even turned off the battery drains, it would last a day.
    No different than somebody owning several rifles really, it's whatever spins your wheels.
