My wife shat the bed when I spent $150 CAD on a Canada Goose down brand fur/down hat in about 2006.

I only needed it once, -20°C and about 7 knots of wind and was worth every cent…

Beanies are called Toques over there.

my wife would do more than shat the bed if I did that!!!!!!!!! I would quite possibly talk in high pitched tone and not need to shave ever again.

I run the norsewear grey wolley fleece liner jobby can be had for about $30 at most farming outfits never left me cold yet

I’ve got one. Love it - I’m a big fan of having a brim even in winter. Big though, stretches out quite a bit. Suits me with my mass of dreadlocks (most regular caps & beanies just pop off) but might be a bit loose on a regular head.
