    Finally back from Police and in my hot little hands. Yes it has a barrel extension screwed into the action. Multiple cals in the works.

    Had a look into this and it is a serious rail! It is also replaceable, so if you did damage it you can swap it out. However you would need a new scope first as I can guarantee that the scope would give out before the rail does.
