Hi all!
I would like to put a suppressor on a BA13 in .308 20'' barrel and was wondering which would be a light and slim one to use.
Has not to be the most effective one, just to take out the sting a bit.
Any recommendations?
Cheers

With that barrel length, you could choose whatever you like. DPT is the obvious answer. DPT also make a mini suppressor which may tick your boxes.
I have a DPT with two extra baffles added. So, a little extra length but very effective and accurate.
Got a DPT can with xtra S/S baffle on my 16”BA13 308 with open sights fitted. Mostly use subs but also supers. Works for me. It’s not a safe-Queen and handles rough and tumble.
DPT is very modular.
Have one with only 1 stainless baffle on my 20" tikka, to keep it shorter. Definately not the quietest, but still pleasant to shoot in the field.
The sonic 35 are quite good, modular like the DPT, and also on the slimmer side of things. I've used the Sonic 35, 40 and 45, highly rate them, even above DPT
Gunworks do a 35mm suppressor. DPT's are 43mm. Greystone's are 38mm. A-Tec do a 40mm modular one.
Unless you particularly need it to be skinny, I'd recommend a shorter fatter suppressor over a longer skinnier one. You gain more internal volume by increasing the diameter quicker than you do by increasing the length. Volume forward of the muzzle is more effective than volume over the barrel too.

Thanks guys for the input.
Seems like DPT is very popular. IŽll have a look at H+F in Timaru what`s available short term.
