. My head is squarely upon my shoulders. There is nothing wrong with a .22 in an AR platform and provided that young people are introduced to shooting in manner that highlights safe handling it matters not what the action of the firearm is and nor does it matter what it looks like. My Tippmann is black (I trust you do not discriminate based on colour) and it looks like a military platform firearm (I trust you are not a conscientious objector or pacifist) and it has been the firearm with which I have introduced many young people to firearms sporting activities. They have all learned what it is to act safely and be responsible with a firearm and they all will remember the experience for a very long time as the had a shit tonne of fun in the process.

What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

I have to awnser that - negativity like that do we need it no we dont - so just as you say look once in a blue moon - my point is we live as firearm owners in an age where we are fighting for the right to have them - the anti firearm brigade is exceptionally strong and any excuse we are the losers- why give them ammunition against us - just because its a .22 does not mean anything to them - its a military style semi auto in their eyes - no matter how functional accurate or fun to use - why give them any excuse to have a case against us as a legitimate firearm user - we dont need it we have an uphill battle as it is -make absolutely no mistake about that

It's ironic that the anti-gun bigade might find a true military ex WW2 Lee Enfield converted to 22lr as ok, while a 22lr AR platform that has never been used in any conflict as bad. I wonder if a 10/22 becomes evil in a black plastic stock compared to a wood one?

You’re a cock, they are legal and legitimate and can be used safely and legitimately just like any other firearm.

The anti gun brigade will find any pretext, a long rifle with a scope and a can will be branded as a high power sniper rifle don’t fall in their game…

Mine was really accurate out of the box compared to other semi 22. Once I fitted a CMC comp trigger it became as accurate as my Tikka T1x. Repeatable one hole 10 shot group at 50m minus the odd firecracker flyer. Most 3 shot group at 100m are under 1.5moa without wind and on an A4 piece of paper at 300m.

Never jam with cci sv. Had few jam with Tac22 while super accurate, just too waxy.

10 shot at 50m supressed, cci sv

Says in your location tag you're based in Rotorua. Go see Don at Gun Supplies. They usually have a rack full of them. I'd recommend getting the cheaper Pro model with the plastic handguard. They are the best semi auto 22lr on the market IMO, irrespective of being AR pattern.

The tippmans are a great platform not just a range toy either they are a functional tool that many pest controllers etc have come to rely on. Wish I didn't sell my one
