    Bit more than that
that scope via them will cost near on 2400NZ
    1360 + 80 shipn - covert to NZ$ /.71 = 2028NZ$ + Customs - Import code (free) and then GST on all total = just over 2400NZ$
The prior chap woud of had it brought in via friend and non declared.
You prob do better in Aussi - get their tax back at Airport (bit of a hassle) and then bring it in as used personal item.

    PS
Did not think the Yanks will send "any" scopes to NZ ??
    Looks like they do

We live in California earning USD so pointless for me to convert. Will be brought home on plane so should avoid customs fees.

Tax I was referring to was California tax, 8% I think?

All up will owe me $1950 NZD ish

    Edit: Damn crazy taxes

Haha yeah I was until about year and a half ago. I'll be back in NZ to live again before too long.

    Sorry for the hijack Ryan.

    Couple of questions Ryan.

Does it have to be 15x+?
As good glass and the right reticle 10-12 power with an accurate rifle will easily get you to a K and more on steel and 800 on anything bigger than a shoebox

Have you thought about a well looked after 2nd hand Nightforce Actar, Schmidt and Bender PM11 etc. ?

What about Vixen, can be had in 2.5 to 15, 5 to 25 or 6 to 24. Jap glass, good dialing. I have a 2.5 to 15, bright as a bright thing.

That's another option, I'm just looking at options at the moment before and want to make the most of my spending as I'm not a fan of taking drawings at the best of times and want to make sure I end up with a package that's going to keep me happy for a long time

I really like my VX6HD in 3-18 with the TS29 Reticule, Dials great but reticule is easy to use hold-offs quickly and not as cluttered as it looks when you actually use it

So the HD is better than the latest models then? I've heard it said more than once now the 3-18 isn't as clear as the 2-12. The 2-12 is the only VX6 leupold thus far that ticks all the boxes and is a very good scope imo.

than the price quoted above, Shooters world in Gore give better deals as well, as does 45 South
in fact all DECENT sports shops give better deals than those thieves..

Will see what I can do. FYI all the Huskemaw scopes will be available to check out at the Sika Show this weekend. Check out the Kiwi Composites stand.

He'll also have my Sako 85 on display, kitted out with carbon stock.
