New guy here, is there going to much more noise to suppress at all? I have a hushpower on my 10/22 and its quiet as I'd ever want it... or is it a looks thing you're going for?

Don't know about the opening poster, but I wanted my .22LR to be as short as possible, so went for an over-barrel suppressor. I had a Hushpower prior to the Hardy and it did the job just fine.
@MB have ordered a Hardy same as yours. Just the weight and length in the end and the fact this is going on a dedicated subsonic short barrel .22
Having thought about it I'm not really going to be running supers so should be all good with the rimfire can.
Cheers for all the input guys.
I put my 300 blk suppressor with a dozen baffles on it on my 22 for a play and yes it was quieter but definitely not substantially better than small 243 gunworks over barrels or my Ti 30 cal alpine OD.
Every thing here is 1/2-20 so I can use the one I feel like.
Still always end up with the normal 22 suppressor back on it after I'm finished tutuing as the centerfire ones arnt worth the extra bulk for minimal improvement and the risk of damaging them using my 22 like I usually do
My Ruger 10/22 has a ported barrel and overbarrel suppressor: shoots supersonic ammo quietly.
i am using a both dpt 223 and .22 on my 22lrs, no differences at all .
I use the same gunworks over barrel suppressor on my 7mm08 and 17hmr.
It works well on both but it makes the hmr very front heavy and harder to hold steady than a nice light dpt rimfire or similar.
