I will have to take of for a look.
Will take a photo of the fit on the tikka rail.
Just when I had a look to take a photo that it's the bottom lip that grips under the pic rail is gripping the tikka base.
That means no cross bolt lock!
I just want to check its grouping ability so will leave it on till I gets it nf and correct rings.
Lol I new it shouldn't fit and on first appearances it did.
    I should trust my instincts!

I have three tikka T3/Xs, they all wear Talley rings.

A great combination in my opinion. Very simple. Less to go wrong.

    Yep I agree!
If they could do a set that gave you 20 moa built in even better.
I do really rate spuhr mounts highly as well.
Very hard to go past optilocs as well.

Optilocks on a Tikka are completely pointless.

Use the top rail, only mount that really does this is the Spuhr direct mount, which saldy does not work with the original T3 on long action rounds, just T3x.

Optilocks in general are over-priced junk, screws are poor quality, unlike the original pre-Beretta Sako rings which were ace, windage adjustable and quick detach to boot.

The Beretta group reliased it was better to sell people both rings and bases. The ringmounts, while better, are over priced to the extreme.

Thanks for all the feedback, Talley's seem like a popular and safe/simple solution. Love the look of those Leupold mounts too. Some interesting comments about quick release mounts, I guess this is for swapping optics between rifles? Didn't know what was a thing, I assume you have to re zero every remount? I'm interested in this as only have one optic between now two rifles until I can squirrel enough money away for a second scope.
GPK, Cheers for the offer! I'll send ya a PM

I missed what scope you are running but these in 30mm are a great deal.
