The semi automatic rimfire space is really quite lacking in good options. TC R55 is nice of you can get one, good luck getting mags or parts though. (I have one)(They're discontinued).

I have had several semi auto .22 over the years, the best was a Anschutz 525, also enjoyed the Volquartsen, the two Ruger 10/22 and Brno 511 I was glad to see gone, jamming issues and/or poor accuracy.
Also had two .22mag pumps a browning and Henry, the Browning BPS pump was by far my favourite hunting rimfire, Its F..ked now and I cant get parts, chipped barrel and re broke the firing pin. the Henry is a replacement and the only .22mag pump I could find. its a bit heavy, but octagonal barrel.
If I was to buy another .22 semi I would get and Anschutz, VQ or CZ in that order.
Nothing wrong with others, rugers got lots parts choices.
I had a gopher shoot a month back and there was a VQ .17hrm there, that's a fun rimfire.

Accuracy wise that was pretty poor, very close to your average Ruger 10/22.

Honestly, have a look for a Marlin 60DLX for a really nice semi. They tend to be in the same league as a good bolt action for accuracy and are incredibly reliable. If you prefer a removable mag have a look in the Marlin 795 line up. But I think the 60DLX would be the way to go.

That very rifle is sitting in my safe. Mike was kind enough to part with it.

You lucky sod, that is a beautiful little rifle that. Mike sold it because it was too nice to knock around in the truck. I hope you wear kid skin gloves when you fondle it.

They can be obtained, not that easy but not too difficult. Think Mike said there was a new shipment due about now.

I would be quite interested in one as well if they end up floating about. Nice bit of kit. I love my 795.
